The Test

There are two parts to the theory test. Part one is the multiple-choice questions. You have 57 minutes to answer 50 multiple-choice questions. When revising for the multiple-choice questions there are 14 topics you will need to know. For example. Awareness, Attitude, Motorways, etc…
The topics can have up to 50 questions or more. It is important you know each topic well before you start your mock tests.

Part two is hazard perception. This is made up of 14 video clips. These will feature every day road scenes. Each clip will contain one developing hazard but one of the video clips will feature two developing hazards. A developing hazard is where you would use your foot brake or change direction. You will score maximum points for identifying the developing hazards early. You can score up to 5 points for each developing hazard. To get a high score click the mouse as soon as you see the hazard starting to develop. If you continuously click the mouse you won’t score any points.

Remember before you take your theory test make sure you are ready. Putting the effort in before the test will result in a first time pass. We recommend Theory Test 4 U
